Pandangan gua terhadap "Apakah AI akan Menggantikan Pekerjaan Manusia?"

Melihat keberadaan AI yang sudah infiltrate kehidupan kita, sampai ke akar-akarnya, gua melihat kekhawatiran terkait apakah AI bisa menggantikan pekerjaan kalian. And here's my perspective, as a software engineer.
Understanding AI
Secara teori, AI itu ga hanya ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Gemini, dan teman-temannya. Rekomendasi belanjaan kalian di Tokopedia atau Shopee, itu juga merupakan AI. Spam filter pada email kalian, sampai auto correct dan predictive text di iPhone atau Android kalian, itu juga AI sebenarnya. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok dan lainnya hanya salah satu branch dari AI yang begitu luas.

Mengetahui bahwa AI sangat dekat dengan diri kita, bahkan pada keseharian kita, let's not get scared of AI, let's embrace it.
Embracing the AI Era
Setelah internet muncul, terasa seolah-olah informasi bergerak begitu cepat. Istilah yang gua denger saat gua kuliah untuk ini adalah Information Superhighway. Berita di Indonesia, mudah terdengar di Eropa. Ga hanya didengar sih menurut gua, information superhighway membuat informasi dimanapun juga gampang dicari. Let's be real, lu mau tau tentang apapun, gampang ga sih nyari nya di Google? Whoops, sorry, Google udah ga trendy ya, gampang ga sih ditanya ke ChatGPT? Let's say, Quantum Computing. Apaan tuh? Tanya Claude deh:
Quantum Computing Over Simplified
Imagine you have a really special toy that can be in two places at once! That's kind of like quantum computing.
Regular computers (like the one you might use for games or homework) work with bits. These bits are like little light switches that can only be ON or OFF.
But quantum computers use something called "qubits" (that's short for quantum bits). The super cool thing about qubits is they can be ON, OFF, or somehow both ON and OFF at the same time! Scientists call this "superposition."
It's a bit like if you could spin a coin really fast - while it's spinning, it's not just heads or tails, it's kind of both until it stops.
Because qubits can be in this mixed-up state, quantum computers can look at lots of possible answers to a problem all at once, instead of checking each answer one by one like regular computers.
This makes quantum computers really good at solving certain types of super hard problems, like figuring out patterns in really big numbers or helping scientists discover new medicines.
Scientists are still working on making quantum computers better because they're tricky to build - the qubits need to be kept super cold (colder than space!) and they're very sensitive to noise and bumps.
So while your video games and school work will still use regular computers for a long time, quantum computers might someday help us solve problems we can't even imagine fixing today!
That's crazy buat gua. Gua bisa belajar apapun, dalam waktu yang sangat singkat.
Ini yang gua maksud Embrace. Use your AI as a catalyst for you. Apapun field kalian, ketika kalian stuck atau ingin tau sesuatu, use AI untuk mempercepat workflow kalian. But please note, AI ga sepenuhnya benar, informasinya tetap harus dicari kebenarannya, jurnal kalau bisa, dan itulah peran kalian sebagai manusia.
What makes us Human and why AI can't replace us?
Technically, sangat-sangat mungkin AI replace pekerjaan gua sebagai software engineer. It's entirely possible for someone to own a company with 10 AI employees, or what we nowadays call AI agents. Tapi, here's the twist. When they make mistakes, who should be blamed? Who should be responsible?
Itulah kenapa kita tidak bisa di-replace. Ketidaksempurnaan yang dimiliki sama manusia adalah alasan utama kenapa kita tidak bisa di-replace. Emosi yang dimiliki manusia, adalah mengapa kita tidak bisa di-replace. Apa iya ketika ada masalah besar atau suatu insiden, kita bakal mengumpulkan semua AI agents untuk meeting? Halu kayaknya kalau beneran kayak gitu.
Manusia membuat kesalahan, manusia belajar juga dari kesalahan. Manusia menyelesaikan masalah dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor yang manusiawi. Pendekatan yang manusia ambil untuk menyelesaikan masalah memang tidak se-perfect AI, tapi itu keindahannya.
Summary
So, that's it, guys. From my perspective, you can't get replaced by AI. But if you lack the skills to implement AI in your daily workflow, you can get outpaced by others due to their speed and efficiency in solving problems. AI is just a catalyst for you. But how good are you at mixing the right catalyst?
